Αθηναία και λάτρης του κέντρου, πρωταθλήτρια στην κολύμβηση και fan του αθλητισμού και των σπορ κάθε τύπου, πειθαρχία και οργάνωση στο maximum! Σπούδασε Γαλλική Φιλολογία στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και μετά στη σχολή μόδας ESMOD στο Παρίσι.
Η πρώτη της επαφή με τον περιοδικό τύπο ήταν στην ΓΡΑΜΜΗ ΑΕ και τα πρώτα τηλεοπτικά της βήματα στον ΑΝΤ1 με Πρωινό Καφέ και Ρούλα Κορομηλά.
Όταν ήσουν μικρή τι σε ξεχώριζε από τα άλλα παιδιά;
Νιώθω ακόμη μικρή, όταν μεγαλώσω θα σας απαντήσω!
Πότε κατάλαβες ότι θα ασχοληθείς με τη μόδα και θα γίνεις δημιουργός - στυλίστρια;
Δεν πρόλαβα να το συνειδητοποιήσω η αλήθεια είναι… Μπορεί να είχα το μικρόβιο λόγω γιαγιάς -που της έχω και αδυναμία- γιατί αν σχεδίαζα ή έβλεπα κάτι που μου άρεσε σε φιγουρίνια ή περιοδικά διάλεγα ύφασμα, κουμπιά, φόδρες κλπ και το ράβαμε μαζί. Η διαδικασία της δημιουργίας είναι αυτό που μου αρέσει ακόμη, όχι να εξελιχθώ σε σχεδιάστρια. Μου φαίνεται πολύ περιοριστικό να υπηρετείς μία γραμμή ένα ύφος, μου αρέσει να δουλεύω μέσα σε όλα και με όλα, χωρίς περιορισμούς και πρέπει.
Αν δεν είχες γίνει, τι θα ήθελες να ήσουν;
Αστροναύτης.
Τι είναι αυτό που σε ξεχωρίζει από άλλους του χώρου σου;
Tο στυλ της δουλειάς μου φαντάζομαι, ο καθένας μας έχει από ένα και σε κάποιους αρέσει και σε άλλους όχι.
Ποιο είναι το μεγαλύτερό σου πλεονέκτημα;
Η επιμονή.
Ποιο είναι το μεγαλύτερό σου μειονέκτημα;

Ποια ήταν η μεγαλύτερη δυσκολία στη ζωή σου;
Μεγαλύτερη δυσκολία θεωρώ θέμα υγείας στην οικογένειά μου ή όσων αγαπάω και δεν θέλω ούτε να σκέφτομαι κάτι τέτοιο.
Ποια ήταν η μεγαλύτερη πρόκληση που αντιμετώπισες;
Κάθε καινούργια συνεργασία ή project είναι και μία καινούργια πρόκληση, φτιάχνεις κάτι από το μηδέν και δίνεις εξετάσεις κάθε φορά!! Σταθμός στην καριέρα μου βέβαια ήτανε η γνωριμία μου με την Τάμτα και η συνεργασία μας τα τελευταία 7 χρόνια και μεγάλη πρόκληση η συνεργασία μου με την Δέσποινα Βανδή η πρώτη μεγάλη καλλιτέχνης/σταρ που με εμπιστεύτηκε εν λευκώ χωρίς καν να με γνωρίζει προσωπικά και η συνεργασία μου με τον Σάκη Ρουβά για 3 χρόνια. Και όλα αυτά ταυτόχρονα!
Ποιος είναι ο στόχος σου για τα επόμενα 5 χρόνια;
Δεν βάζω ποτέ μακροπρόθεσμους στόχους γιατί δεν ξέρω πού μπορεί να βρίσκομαι ή τι μπορεί να προκύψει αύριο! Ιδανικός προορισμός και πηγή έμπνευσης και δημιουργίας για μένα θα είναι πάντα η ΝΥ – η μεγάλη μου αγάπη- και όταν φαντάζομαι ή κάνω σχέδια για το μέλλον εκεί διαδραματίζονται όλα!
Ποια πρόσωπα (επώνυμα ή οικογενειακού περιβάλλοντος) σε έχουν εμπνεύσει κατά τη διάρκεια της ζωής σου.
Η γιαγιά μου κατ αρχάς, τα ρούχα που έραβε και έβλεπα στην ντουλάπα της μαμάς μου, οι σταρ, η μόδα, η μουσική, ο κινηματογράφος και η τηλεόραση στην απίστευτά δημιουργική, υπερβολική, εκρηκτική και χλιδάτη δεκαετία του 80 όπου μεγάλωσα σαν να ζούσα σε ταινία επιστημονικής φαντασίας, η αισθητική και οι ταινίες του Τιμ Μπάρτον, της Αγκάθα Κρίστι και οι ηρωίδες του Χίτσκοκ, η σκηνή από το ¨Όσα Παίρνει ο Άνεμος" όπου η Σκάρλετ ο Χάρα σκίζει τις κουρτίνες για να φτιάξει φόρεμα στην μέση του πολέμου και οι κορσέδες και τα κρινολίνα της εποχής, ο Ριτσαρντ Γκηρ στο American Gigolo με την απίστευτη γκαρνταρόμπα του δια χειρός Giorgio Armani να ξεδιπλώνεται μπροστά μας στο άνοιγμα της ντουλάπας του!

Θα ήθελα να είμαι περισσότερο υπομονετική και λιγότερο ισχυρογνώμων.

Τα νύχια μου, αν μπορούσα να σταματήσω να τα τρώω.

Ήπειρο, μόνο!

«Μία τσάντα των ονείρων μας μπορεί να κάνει τα όνειρά μας πραγματικότητα». Το αξεσουάρ δίνει πάντα στυλ και φτιάχνει ένα look, γι αυτό οι τσάντες όπως και τα παπούτσια είναι «long term επένδυση». Λατρεύω την λογική μίας handbag και μίας shopping bag σε καθημερινή χρήση αντί μίας ασήκωτης και υπερφορτωμένης τσάντας!
Kαι τέλος, πού είναι το πιο πιθανό να σε βρουν οι θαυμάστριές σου;
Στο Κολωνάκι που είναι η γειτονιά μου στα μαγαζιά ή στο γραφείο μου, και εννοείται στο Διαδίκτυο: FBK & Twitter, δηλώνω frequent user! Το καλοκαίρι όμως στην Πάρο και στην Σύμη.

An Athenian, and a sworn fan of the centre, all my school years were spent at Arsakeio!! Swimming champion, a fan of athletics and all types of sport! Disciplined and organised to the max! Studies of French Literature at Athens University were followed by the ESMOD Fashion School in Paris.
First contact with the world of Periodical press at GRAMMI AE and first steps in the world of television at ANT1 on the show, Morning Coffee, with Roula Koromila. Unique chance my acquaintance with Tamta, a unique experience living in NY.
My passion for creating has become my work and working with people such as Tamta and Despina Vandi is invaluable as it allows me to create, to work and turn all that I’ve ever dreamt of into reality, and for that I thank them with all my heart!
When you were young what made you stand out from other children?
I still feel young, when I grow up I’ll tell you!
When did you come to realize that you would work in fashion and become a creator – stylist?
I never had the chance to realize it, truth be told…I might have caught the bug thanks to my grandmother – whom I have a great soft spot for – because if I designed something or saw something which I liked on a doll or in a magazine, then I would choose material, buttons, the lining and we would sew it together. To create is what I still love today, not to shine as a designer. I don’t want to be limited to one line of work, or one style, I want to be involved in everything and with everything, without limits and rules.
If you did not work in fashion, what would you have become?
An astronaut.
What makes you stand out from others in your field?
The style of work which I dream up: each one us has their own and some like it and others don’t.
What is your greatest advantage?
Persistence.
What is your greatest disadvantage?
Persistence.
Which is the greatest difficulty in your life?
The greatest difficulty is health issues in my family or in everyone that I love, and it’s something I don’t want to think about.
Which has been the greatest challenge you’ve faced?
Every new collaboration or project is a new challenge, you start from scratch and need to pass the test every time! An important part of my career, of course, was meeting Tamta and our collaboration has lasted 7 years, and a large challenge was working with Despina Vandi, the first great star/artist who put blind trust in me, without even knowing me personally, and my collaboration with Sakis Rouvas which lasted for 3 years. And all of the above at the same time!
What are your aims for the next 5 years?
I never set long term goals because I do not know where I’ll be from one day to the next or what may arise. An ideal destination and large source of inspiration and creativity for me is always NY – my great love – and when I fantasize about my future or make plans for it, it always takes place there!
Who (whether famous or family member) has inspired you during the course of your life?
For starters, my grandmother, the clothes she’d sew that hung in my mother’s wardrobe, stars, fashion, music, the cinema and television in the unbelievably creative, over the top, explosive, luxurious 80s where I grew up, where it was like living in a sci-fi movie, the aesthetics, Tim Burton or Agatha Christie movies, Hitchcock heroines, the scene from ‘’Gone With The Wind’’ where Scarlett O’Hara tears down the curtains to make a dress during the war and the corsets and petticoats of that era, Richard Gere in ‘’American Gigolo’’ with his unbelievable clothes hand made especially by Giorgio Armani which would spill out of his wardrobe, right in front of our eyes!!

What would you change in your character?
I would like to have more patience and to be less hard headed.
What would you change in your appearance?
My nails, if only I could stop biting them!
What would you change in your home and work environment?
Continent, only.
What will you share with your friends at Starbags as an exclusive piece of news?
‘’The bag of our dreams can make our dreams come true’’. Accessories always add style and complete a look, and that is why bags and shoes are a long term investment. I love the idea of a handbag and a shopping bag for everyday use instead of one over loaded, far too heavy bag!
And lastly, where are your fans most likely to find you?
In Kolonaki which is my neighbourhood, at the shops or in my office and of course on the internet! I’m a frequent user of FBK and Twitter! But in the summer I’ll be in Paro and Symi!!
